On Tuesday night, the BBC Patriots stormed Kansas City and took no prisoners. In dismantling regional opponent, Calvary Bible College, 116-67, the Patriots relied on a balanced attack across the board with six players in double figures in scoring and Bobby Hughes dominating the lanes with 17 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Daniel Johnson led all scorers with 26 points and completed his double double with 10 rebounds. Rod Williams pitched in with a career high 9 assists and the Jones boys, Raydel and Colton added 15 and 19 to the near-record onslaught. Bub Payne added 11 points, also dishing out 7 assists and Michael Keesling poured in 14 points in only 13 minutes of play. Overall the team shot nearly 50 percent and had assists on 33 of 48 made baskets. The Patriots travel to Iowa this weekend for a pair of games in the Faith Baptist Tournament before taking a ten day break for Thanksgiving.
