No one is quite sure what the problem with college guys and sleep is, but they defiantly don't know how to get up when they are scheduled to play some intramural basketball. Our first game was scheduled to start at 8am, but Chris Ross' team took a forfeit due to some unfortunate events of oversleeping. The Wildcats of East High took away a win, and then went right back to bed! Our second game started at 9am with Captains of Crunch laying The Fighting Pigeons. The game started out close and at half time Captains of Crunch were only up by five. When the second half rolled around the Fighting Pigeons gave up their fight, and they lost by 11. The final score was 46 to 35 and the leading scored were Billy Hestand and Mike Brown with 12 points each on Captains of Crunch and Reuben Herrin with 12 and Tyler Balbiani with 11 from the Fighting Pigeons. Captains of Crunch volunteered for a double header this week so they ended up play team Dem Hibatchi at 10am. The game stayed close for most of the game uptil about the last three or four minutes. Dem Hibatchi ended up coming out on top with a final score of 54 to 49. The leading scores for this game were Mike Brown with 12 on Captians of Crunch and Kyle Gangel with 22 points for Dem Hibatchi. This next weekend will be a fulll weekend with three more games starting a 8am this saturday!
